Hello all,
I am organizing a load of second hand baseball/softball gear to go down to Nicaragua on behalf of my company and you lot of course. I work for Radius Gold, an exploration company, and many of our projects are in Nicaragua.
If anyone has any second hand gear to donate, I would really like to send a batch down soon with my co-worker. I will collect all thorugh the summer though so whenever you see me, please feel free to unload whatever goods you may have.
Used gloves, cleats, bats, balls, and ball bags would be great.
I was down in Nicaragua in April and I saw a lot of baseball being played, but with sticks and old balls, no gloves or cleats. Poverty is really extreme and jobs are scarce throughout the country. Whatever you have, believe me, will be much appreciated.
